Everyone wants to be happier and have a positive outlook on life, but sometimes it can be hard. Luckily, there are a lot of resources out there, including apps we can download. Here is a list of nine positivity apps that can help lift your spirits when you need a boost.
1. Do Good – Share the Love
One of the best ways to be happier is by sharing with others. In this app, you can send uplifting videos and quotes from the app’s database to your friends. You are also able to look through inspirational quotes and videos for yourself.

2. No Zero Days
This app takes positivity a different way: when you do something in the day, you fill out a note in that category. The categories are: created, helped, learned, and health. As you keep yourself accountable by recording the productive things you have done in the day, you are rewarding yourself with a boost of positivity.

3. ThinkUp – Daily Affirmations
Every single day you can get positive vibes by receiving a positive affirmation. There are more than 300 affirmations in the app, but you can also create your own to send to yourself later. As you listen to your own voice giving yourself tips, advice, and affirmations, you’ll start to believe in yourself more, and believing in yourself is an important step toward happiness.

4. Happify
Another fantastic app to help with positivity is Happify. It has science-based games and activities that are proven to help you overcome stress, negativity, and challenges. According to the app, 86 percent of people who use Happify regularly report feeling better about their lives in two months! There’s a free version and a paid version, so you can choose what suits you.

5. Stoic
This app helps you set a positive morning and evening routine to bring more joy to your life. As you complete exercises, you will get personal insights on what affects your moods. It is also a great platform to start journaling online, which will also help you to live a more peaceful life.

6. Shine
This app will make caring for your mental health much easier. It provides a daily meditation you can listen to, a forum to reflect and discuss with other people how to be happier, and it is specifically designed for those who feel marginalized.

7. Grateful
This app is straightforward and powerful! It gives you daily prompts to answer to help you practice gratitude. You can answer with as many or as little words as you want, and even include a picture if you’d like. One example of a prompt given is, “What keeps me going?” Practicing daily gratitude will be sure to lift your mood.

8. Kwippy
This is an outside-of-the-box app that will be sure to make you smile. It’s a social media app that is purely for completing fun little challenges in the time window given. Unlike other social media apps where you have time to edit and curate, this app will say something like, “A zombie apocalypse has begun, and the nearest item to you shall be your weapon. Wield it!” Then you snap a photo of you holding a cheese grater as a zombie apocalypse weapon and watch as your friends show their response to the same prompt.

9. SelfishBabe
Calling all women! This app delivers affirmations and self love reminders. There are also video courses, podcasts, programs and more to help uplift women specifically. Designed by a woman, for women, this app is sure to help you get that daily boost of positivity.
