A group of Utah women is doing their part to breathe life into the pandemic-ravaged restaurant industry. Every month, they dine at a different locally owned restaurant, and each woman contributes $100 toward a tip to present to the restaurant staff at the end of the night. Known as the $100 Dinner Club, the movement is catching on, with more and more clubs popping up across the country.
On this night, the women surprised each of the servers with $700 tips, and the back-of-house staff each received $100 tips, for a total of $3,000. What an amazing way to bring cheer to restaurant workers who sacrifice so much to serve the public!
