With countless free eBooks available, there’s no need to break the bank when you’re in the mood for a great read. Here are five websites where you can find your next favorite!
1. Project Gutenberg
According to the website, the eBook was created on July 4, 1971, by Michael S. Hart, Project Gutenberg’s founder. Today, Project Gutenberg offers more than 70,000 free eBooks, mostly older works in the public domain that were digitized and proofread by thousands of volunteers.
Here you can find a plethora of classic literature from famous authors like Shakespeare, Jane Austen, Agatha Christie, Mark Twain, and Charles Dickens, just to name a few.

An account is required.
